She asked Ed Ripepi -- a fellow graduate of Padua Franciscan High School, owner of Verso and a search-and-rescue dog handler -- if he could help her get a dog trained to assist her.An anonymous donor bought Roan for Liccardi. Roan, a 10-week-old shepherd/Norwegian elkhound, will need about ,000 in training.The fundraiser begins at 7 p.m. Monday at 5869 Broadview Road. Food and nonalcoholic drinks are a person.
